The N7 Elite has been marching in the Dragon Con parade since 2012. Our numbers keep growing every year. In 2015, we had nearly 100 official marchers.
The N7 Elite allows the following people to march:
- N7 Elite members in Mass Effect costumes or N7 shirts/garb
- Family members, significant others, and handlers for our N7 Elite members (preferably in Mass Effect clothing or N7 Elite shirts, we might have some spare props/accessories for them to march with)
- Parade contraption handlers (please view Parade Contraptions page for more details)
***Interested in marching?***
Please mark yourself as GOING on our Event!
It is VERY important to mark yourself as GOING
so I can request the correct amount of wristbands!
PARADE INFORMATION
********************
TIME: Parade line-up is from 8:00am to 9:45am
As the one in charge, I get there super duper early (like around 7:30). You can show up early
too but it's not mandatory. I do like having everyone there by 9:30
though just to make it easier to give everyone the lo-down. The latest
you can show up is 9:45.

STAGING:
The N7 Elite always marches in the gaming category. Our meeting spot
does change every year but I will post a map when one becomes available
for 2016. Usually I try to get our group
as close to an intersection as possible as well as I post a picture the
morning of the event for to make it easier to find us. There will also be Parade Team members that can direct you to our parade unit.
Please come straight to either one of our designated N7 Elite Parade Team
as we will be in charge of the wristbands. We have a limited amount to hand out but have never run out. We make sure to have enough for everyone including if any of you are bringing family, significant others, and handlers.
Once in the staging area, please follow any directions myself or the
Parade Team gives. When time comes, one of the Parade Team will tell us when we are up in the parade line. It's noisy and often hard to hear what's being said while staging so do your best to listen up and relay orders if need be. Once they give us the "Move Out" command, make sure to go exactly where they direct us. Dragon Con
Security and the Atlanta PD are also on the ground to assist.
Each year they
have the Boy Scouts of America handing out water at the staging area. Due to how limited their quantities are, I would also suggest you bring
their own hydration if your costume permits it. I am working on being able to bring our own bottled water and having our own way to transport it during the parade. Please visit Parade Contraptions for more details.

THE PARADE
START TIME: 10:00 AM
We will post route information as soon as it is received. Including the route map.
The parade is usually over when the last person in the parade arrives at the Marriott by 11:30am. Depending on where our parade section is in the line-up, we should get there between 10:20am and 11:15am. Please do not designate the end of the parade area as a meet-up spot for friends. It’s crowded and crazy and there are literally thousands of parade participants walking
through the area and off the street.
For the N7 Elite, this is usually our ideal time to go cool down and relax before the main photoshoot.
